WHAT TO EXPECT
Before service, you’re invited to stop by the fellowship hall for a continental breakfast from 9:30–10:45 AM—the perfect chance to grab a bite, sip some coffee, and connect with others. At the same time, we also offer
Sunday Small Groups (10AM–10:45 AM) for anyone who wants to dive deeper into God’s Word in a smaller, more personal setting.
At 11AM, our whole church gathers together in the sanctuary for a time of worship and word!
*Every First Sunday of the month is extra special: we share in Holy Communion during worship, and then stick around afterward for a Potluck Lunch—a fun, family-style meal where everyone brings something to the table (literally!) and we enjoy life together.
We can’t wait to see you this Sunday—it wouldn’t be the same without you!

WHEN YOU GET HERE
Currently, we’re meeting at Bethlehem Lutheran Church
(17900 Lund-Carlson Rd, Elgin, TX 78621).
Our Sunday service begins at 11AM.
Parking is right in front of the church, and there are spots on both sides. The sanctuary is on the left as you walk through the front door. Sunday School and Adult Small Groups, as well as breakfast, are held in the Fellowship Hall, which is at the back of the building with entrances on both sides.
***If you arrive BEFORE 10AM, then please come around to either side of the building and join us in the Fellowship Hall.***
We’d love for you to join us this week… there’s a seat waiting for you!
*Photography and videography may occur during our services and events and may be used for church communication and promotion. Please let a staff member or volunteer know if you prefer not to be included.
Have kids? That's great!
Parents and guardians, we see you.
At EMC Littles, we believe even the smallest hearts can know the big love of Jesus.
Our Littles ministry creates a safe, joy-filled space
where children can play, learn, and discover God’s love through stories, songs, and hands-on fun.
Because worship isn’t just for the grown-ups — it’s for the whole family.
When kids are loved and parents are spiritually fed, everyone grows stronger.

FAQ
Please reach us at info@elginmethodistchurch.com
if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Where is EMC located?
Current Worship Location
Elgin Methodist Church is currently meeting at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, located at 17900 Lund-Carlson Rd., Elgin, TX 78621.
This is our temporary worship location as we continue praying and preparing for the next chapter of what God has in store for our church family. We'd love for you to join us this Sunday!
Do you offer any counseling services at EMC?
Our Pastors offer spiritual guidance and support through pastoral counseling. The goal is to listen, pray with you, and help you apply biblical principles to life’s challenges. While they are not licensed professional counselors, they do provide up to three sessions of pastoral counseling for individuals or couples.
If further support is needed beyond that, we will gladly help connect you with trusted professional counselors or other appropriate resources.
What kind of music is played during services at EMC?
At Elgin Methodist Church, our worship reflects the beauty of God's Church—blending timeless hymns with modern worship songs that help people encounter Jesus.
Right now, we're a stripped-down acoustic and piano-led team, creating a worship environment that's authentic, heartfelt, and focused on Christ.
If you're a follower of Jesus, have a heart for worship, and want to use your musical gifts to make Jesus big, we'd love to invite you to audition for the EMC Worship Team.
Are children welcome? Do you have a children’s program at Elgin GMC?
We absolutely love welcoming kids at Elgin Methodist Church!
EMC Kids meets every Sunday at 10:00 AM and is designed for children to grow in their faith through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate Bible teaching.
For students, EGMC YTH meets on the first Sunday of each month at 1:00 PM, immediately following our church potluck.
Infants through 5-year-olds are invited to EMC Littles during our worship service, where they'll enjoy a safe, loving environment while learning about Jesus. Of course, little ones are always welcome to stay with their families in worship if that's your preference.
What should I expect when I visit EMC for the first time?
We can't wait to meet you!
When you visit Elgin Methodist Church, you'll be greeted with friendly smiles, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Come early at 9:30 AM to enjoy a cup of coffee, connect with others in one of our Sunday Small Groups, and join us for worship at 11:00 AM.
Whether you've been in church your whole life or you're walking through our doors for the very first time, we're glad you're here. Come just as you are—there's no dress code, and there's always a place for you at EMC.
*Photography and videography may take place during our services and events to celebrate and share what God is doing at Elgin Methodist Church. Images and video may be used on our website, social media, and other promotional materials. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, simply let a staff member or volunteer know, and we'll be happy to accommodate your request.*
Does EMC offer small groups or Bible studies?
Absolutely!
We believe life is better connected. That's why we offer opportunities throughout the week to grow in your faith, build meaningful friendships, and do life together.
Join us for Sunday Small Groups at 10:00 AM for all ages, or connect with one of our Wednesday LifeGroups at 10:30 AM or 6:30 PM for deeper discussion, Bible study, and fellowship.
You're also invited to The Prayer Circle every Thursday at 6:30 PM, where we gather to pray for one another, encourage one another, and seek God together.
No matter where you are in your faith journey, there's a place for you. We'd love to help you get connected!
