NextGEN Team
This team's purpose is to actively involve children and youth with God's teachings, collaborate with parents, establish an enjoyable and secure learning environment, and foster relationships with both children and families.
CREATIVE Team
Serve in cultivating an environment where individuals can encounter the presence of God. Contribute by playing a musical instrument or help out the tech team to enhance the presentation of the gospel to our congregation and those worshiping with us online.
Welcome team
Take the initiative to be the initial point of contact for arriving guests, offering a warm welcome and addressing any inquiries they may have. Assist in locating the most suitable available seats and have the privilege of praying with others.
If are interested in serving in any capacity, then contact us and let us know how you want to get involved.
SERVE BOLD
Now is your chance to really make a difference in someone's life.
CARE PORTAL CHURCH
We’re excited to share that our church is now a CASA CarePortal Church! This means when a local need arises within the foster care community, we have the opportunity to step in and help—right here, right when it matters.
Would you like to be part of this local outreach ministry? We’re looking for people who are willing to:
• Pray as needs come in
• Give financially when able
• Deliver items and pray with individuals and families who need support
If this sounds like a ministry you’d like to be involved in, please reach out to Pastor Stephanie at steph@elginmethodistchurch.com.
Together, we can be the hands and feet of Christ to families in our community 🤍

TEXAS RAMP PROJECT
Members of EMC and other Elgin churches take part in the Texas Ramp Project team in Elgin, providing and building free wheelchair ramps to low-income older adults and people with disabilities identified by local healthcare providers. Ramps provide safety, independence, and an improved quality of life to clients and relief to their families and caregivers. They often allow clients to age in place at home, surrounded by those who love and care for them. The lives of qualifying individuals can be completely transformed. EMC volunteers are part of a team that has helped build over 100 ramps in the greater Elgin area.
ELGIN CARES
EMC has joined forces with Elgin Cares to host a drive-through meal at Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. This initiative aims to provide food assistance to our community. Elgin Methodist members generously contribute baked chicken quarters regularly, while others help package food for the meal on the first Friday of each month, serving hundreds of people in need.
DISCIPLESHIP
"INSPIRATION HAPPENS IN ROWS, BUT TRANSFORMATION HAPPENS IN CIRCLES."

KIDS & YOUTH
Sundays at 10:00 AM
We believe the next generation matters right now — not someday.
Our Kids & Youth gatherings are designed to help young people know Jesus, love His Word, and boldly live out their faith. Through engaging lessons, meaningful relationships, and a whole lot of fun, we’re building a foundation that lasts.
Come ready to grow, connect, and discover who God created you to be.
ADULT SUNDAY SMALL GROUPS
Sundays at 9:30 AM
Before we gather for worship, we gather around the Word.
In our Adult Sunday Small Groups, we read Scripture together to better understand who God is, gain wisdom for everyday life, and learn what it truly means to see and follow Jesus. These are not just classes — they’re communities where questions are welcomed, faith is strengthened, and friendships are formed.
Whether you’ve walked with Jesus for decades or you’re just beginning to explore faith, there’s a place for you here. Everyone is welcome.
All classes meet in the rooms off the Fellowship Hall.

EMC LITTLESItem Link
Parents and guardians, we see you.
You pour so much love and energy into your families every day —
and you deserve a space to rest, refocus, and be renewed in worship.
At EMC Littles, we believe even the smallest hearts can know the big love of Jesus.
Our Littles ministry creates a safe, joy-filled space
where children can play, learn, and discover God’s love through stories, songs, and hands-on fun.
Because worship isn’t just for the grown-ups — it’s for the whole family.
When kids are loved and parents are spiritually fed, everyone grows stronger.
